I was not satisfied with the hair cuts I was getting from my previous salon. I made an appointment with Kathy at Tru Salon in Warren. I showed her a picture of the hair cut I wanted. She took the time to listen and talk with me. I am very happy with the hair cut that Kathy gave me . The cut is very complimentary to my face and is really beautiful. I am very please and definitely will return.
I had a haircut and highlights done by Kathy a few weeks ago and they were the best I have had in several years. I've even received compliments from strangers which never happened before. Kathy chose the perfect tone for the highlights to compliment my base hair color and the haircut is looking great and really holding its shape!
Natalie transformed my sun damage ratty hair to a beautiful fall color red-brown with warm highlights and a short sophisticated haircut with low maintenance. My son and husband are in love with a new wife and mom. Natalie is a creative professional stylist who I trust to do whatever she desires. All the staff at Tru in Branchburg are fantastic, very professional and just what you would look for in a Salon. My stylist Sam, has great communication and coloring skills and really listens to what you are interested in a hair style and delivers on it. Although I haven’t had any Spa treatments recently, I have gotten great massages in the past. I highly recommend Tru for your Salon and Spa needs.

Body scrubs are part massage and part exfoliating the damage our skin endures. I can testify to the relaxation and the rejuvenation from the body scrubs I have gotten at Tru. Perfect to counter stress and the summer effects on our skin!

I always wondered how I would feel after a 90 minute massage... and by the time Danielle had finished working her magic on me, the only word that describes how I felt would be Jello... I even had to take some extra time before leaving to get my wits about me! If you are looking to feel better all over, you need to try one!
From the front staff to the hair stylists, everyone here is wonderful. They are flexible with scheduling, always kind and courteous, and do a great job with hair. Highly recommend !

Sophistication without pretense. With that, I mean it's clean and edgy, but relaxed and inviting. One of the best places to go, if you actually want your hairdresser to listen to what you want. As a customer I have heard several of the hairdressers take pause and discuss, before engaging. Upon entering all the employees are friendly, professional, talented and passionate at what they do. This fickle customer will return, because of all of the above.

Eileen gave me an express pedicure! She carefully cut my nails, made some toe callouses soft with her brush, squeezed & rubbed my legs & made me instantly relax! While applying nail polish, she used a stick instead of her fingernail to wipe away a bit of polish that went on my skin-very professional! She was wonderful!!
It was my first visit to Tru today and I am sold. Haley is amazing- she really listened to my concerns and gave me an awesome cut and color. Every employee I encountered there was sooooo nice and the salon has a really happy feel. I can't wait to go back!

From the moment you walk in you’re greeted with a smile, checked in and asked if there’s anything they can get you. I’ve been going to John (for haircuts) since he’s been at Tru Salon which I believe is when they 1st opened. He is professional, always on time and is up to date with the latest trends/fashion. I’ve never had a bad experience with him or any staff member.
I’ve had many facials but nothing compares to TRU. As soon as you walk in, the front desk staff is warm and inviting. My Esthetician last night was Jenn. She was fantastic!! She explained the products that were used and took her time to analyze my skin to assess the best products for me. If Jenn is busy, make an appointment with Danielle or Kristen. I’ve been a client of all three and always leave the salon feeling relaxed and very satisfied. The best part of my experience and why I’m a repeat customer...they never try to sell you products. If you are interested in knowing a specific product that was used during your facial, they are always helpful and will explain. Also they sell different sizes of products so if you want to try something, you can get a small bottle at a reasonable price. Take the time and do something nice for yourself. You will not be disappointed!!

I had my second great pedicure with Ashley -- Thank you, Ashley! I went out to my car and noticed one of my toes was smudged. I walked back in to tru and asked the young lady at the counter if someone could help fix my smudge ... it was a big smudge. Well, Ashley had just left. I was her last appointment. However, Jen, who has done many of my pedicures in the past (our schedules are not aligning this year!) was still there. Once Jen finished with her customer she fixed my smudge!! Thank you, Jen! This is why I come to tru ... wonderful people!!!!
As always, I receive excellent services from TRU. Chrissy applied color maintenance and then designed a cut & style with blow-out. The rest of the staff was very pleasant & helpful. I purchased some products with a promotion. I will be going back.

I was given a gift certificate for a pedicure and finally I did so. I never had one for many reasons: one for fear of lack of cleanliness. Tru Salon & Spa put my mind at ease since the pedicure area and method was very clean. Furthermore everyone was very courteous. I had to go back the next day for a touch (most likely my fault as I wore the wrong shoes for a post-pedicure). I had no problems and Ashley was very accommodating, skilled and pleasant. I came in with some damaged hair issues and some ideas on the kind of cut that would “fix it” .... I had two previous cuts at two other salons and they we’re just terrible. Ashley took the time to help me understand my options and helped me pick the PERFECT cut. I have a completely new look that I love and continue to get complements on. Not easy to walk into a new place after being loyal to another for over 18 years... it was a last minute necessity, so took the plunge. And let’s say No Regrets. Chrissy was fabulous.
As usual, Danielle was fantastic. She has a very calming voice which makes the facial even more relaxing. She tells me which products she is using, so if I really like something I can make a purchase. Also, the front staff is friendly and helpful as well. My only complaint is the sound system .... there were certain songs that when they played there was static in the music. Great salon! New speakers may be needed!

I like the concept of Tru Salon. Very large and bright. Offering many services in one location is also a plus. I find scheduling goes smoothly. As does reception. Products used are of good quality. And the business is run on schedule. Staff is very much attentive. Pricey yes, but quality is a part of the whole process from the time I walked into the Salon until done. Will return

John gave me the best haircut/style EVER. Ive been so unhappy with the way other stylists/barbers have been cutting my hair that I thought a buzz cut was my next choice because no one could get my hair right. John took control and proceeded to cut away. When he was done I couldn't stop admiring how good it looked. Cant wait to get back and have John do it all over again. Customer for life!!

I came in as a hair model for Liz while Jon supervised. They made me feel comfortable and confident during the 2hr process. Not to mention both Jon and Liz were completely understanding about me having my 5 month old daughter with me. Jon went the extra mile of holding my daughter when she got fussy, and sported her as an arm charm super well. I left there with a great haircut and fabulous experience. I will definitely be returning for multiple reasons.
Have never been to this tru salon. Made appt with Natalie based on my need for day and time. Front desk staff was very friendly. Took my coat. Was taking in on time for my appt. Natalie was very nice and understood my hair needs. Was one of the best blow outs I have had. Will definitely go back!!

I decided to try some other salons in an attempt to save some money, but my hair just never looked as good as when I get it done at Tru. Yesterday I called on a wim to see if there were any open appointments...there were. I got my hair colored by April, blown out by Ashley, and my eyebrows waxed by Kristen. I felt welcomed and appreciated from the moment I walked in until I left. Everybody was friendly and my hair looks great! So do my eyebrows! I will definitely be returning. Thank you!

First time going to this salon & spa and getting a men’s manicure. Pleasant and friendly experience from the moment I walked in. Came in on time for my appointment and waited a whole minute if that, to be taken back for my appointment. Priced a little higher than other salons but worth it for the service and treatment.

I’m always offered a beverage and asked if there’s anything they can get me. I always have the opportunity to view something entertaining on TV or in a magazine. The salon is always very clean, tidy, comfortable, and festive during holidays. April never disappoints! She takes the time to understand and listen to my requests and concerns about my cut and color during the consult. She always shares her knowledge and expertise about the right styling products to use to make my hair look the way I want. I always leave with awesome looking hair! I give credit to Kim. She never disappoints when she cuts my hair. I’m only upset that the salon is not open on Monday’s. Being in the hospitality business Monday’s are slow days and thus hotels, restaurants and such are able to do holiday parties. I lose out.
I scheduled a blowout over the phone for my husbands highschool reunion. When I arrived they said they did not have my reservation, so I guess the woman I spoke with on the phone never put my appointment into their system. The woman at reception was very nice though and found someone to do my blowout anyway, and my blowout turned out great. Overall, the issue was rectified and I received a great blowout.
Was passing by and decided to try this salon for a quick pedicure. Ashley was very thorough and did a wonderful job! I will recommend this salon to friends and family. The only negative thing was the seating for the pedicure, the foot cushion kept slipping which made it awkward. I would much rather sit in an adjustable chair (preferably a massage chair) especially due to having long legs. I'm hoping that in the future these will be available here.
As always I’m so pleased with the results of my cut and color with Chrissy. I just feel that you should have a lesser charge for a trim.

I went to April, my first time here at Tru Salon&Spa;, and curiously, I asked her some advice concerning my hair and the condition of it/cut, etc. Not only did she give me a couple of different alternative treatments for my hair, plus options of layering, but she also made sure I understood what she was saying. I will say, for as long as I live in the area, I will be going to this salon. Plus, being that I have extremely thick hair, layers upon layers, it does not tend to keep the shape it's styled into, yet somehow April worked her magic and it's the day after my event and my hair is still holding the style!!! Love love love!

This was the first time Ashley did highlights for me and I thought she did a great job! Took her time, talked about what I wanted, very professional and very nice!

This was my first visit to the salon and I had high hopes! For starters it’s located next to a Starbucks- coffee, ‘nuff said. Secondly, the decor was great. I love going to a salon and being in a pampering, yet very trendy environment. One aspect that sets this salon apart is the layout. While getting color out in your hair, you were able to watch Netflix on a large tv screen. Additionally, when your service was finished, you could dry and style your own hair using their products. This was an extremely inviting aspect! I was able to peruse the products and use ones I thought I’d like to get- and then bonus- apply them to my hair myself, so I could really see how they would work when I got home. Now, Ashley does AMAZING COLOR! I get blonde highlights and not only is the placement of the highlights complimentary to my face and natural, but the color is better than Pinterest! She knows exactly what to do to make sure the tone is even and, again, give it a natural look. Sometimes, when I leave a salon, I continue to look at my hair to make sure I like it. This time, I kept looking at my hair because I loved it. Great experience. Competitive prices. Excellent results!

I had an appointment for highlights this past Saturday. The employees in the salon are always very nice and always accommodating. My usual service consists of a cut or a cut and highlights. This time I only received partial highlights which was $110.00 for the service alone. When making the appointment I was asked if I also wanted a blowout for an additional $38.00. I was a little taken back. I said "no one blows out my hair to see if the color needs to be tweaked and not to mention for $110.00 my hair is left wet". The the person on the phone was following policy but truly for that amount of money I should not be placed at the "blowout bar" to blow out my own hair. Not to mention my hair is fine and on the shorter side and takes about 10 minutes to dry.

When I go to Tru Salon at Branchburg I am always sure that I will leave there satisfied and happy. I go there for hair, spa, facial and mani-pedi for years. People are working there are very nice and they are all good at their speciality. My hair stylist Chrissy is the best hair stylist I have ever had. Girls at the front desk are very nice and always helpful. I am sorry to move at another state, I will miss them very much.

I received an aromatherapy massage from, Daniele. She is awesome always awesome! She takes the time to work on areas of special concern and I'm always relaxed and much better when I leave then when I first arrived!
I called a day ahead and they were able to accomodate me for my blow out.
They both are wonderful and friendly. They both do their job exquisitely, with expertise and excellence. My only issue is why aren’t there mats on the floor. I used to work in a place with such flooring and the physical problems it caused are painful and irreversible. You have a great staff, take care of them please. This is my personal observation. Also, I missed John today! I hope he gets better soon!

They are courteous, helpful, and efficient. The staff at Tru have become a second family, and I highly recommend them.

I always get a good cut and style from Natalie. The shop itself is clean and pleasant, and the staff friendly and helpful. Pricing is higher than regular salons, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Melissa did a beautiful job with my classic manicure then Diana took care of my stress with a stone massage. It was excellent. The only problem I had was when I checked out & was told I could not have the special discounted price of a stone massage ($95) with a buy one, get one. However, when I made the appointment, I explained I wanted to buy one, get one with the special stone massage price & was NOT told I couldn’t do that. The front desk girls all need to be on the same page!

I called last minute for an appointment. I was in the stylist seat within 45 minutes of my call. Natalie did a great job coloring and styling my hair. I felt she really listened to my concerns and needs. I loved how I looked! My work schedule is very unpredictable, so it is challenging to a scheduled hair appointment. I love that I am able to call last minute and usually get an appointment. Plus, my color formula is in the computer and no matter which stylist I get they are both friendly and able to color my hair beautifully. Thank you Natalie!

Christy listens and always does what I ask. She is a very talented stylist who not only knows how to cut but blow dry too. I have been to many stylists over the years and have found that many do not know how to blow dry.

I got my haircut today by John at Tru Salon and, as always, he did an amazing job! I've been going to John for a few years now and I've NEVER had a bad haircut! My hair looks so amazing when I leave the salon and also as it grows out. I have a mid-length cut so every 6 weeks, or so, John cuts my hair. Over the past 40 years, I've had a lot of people cut my hair and, more times than not, I've had to go home and "fix" my hair because it was uneven. No matter what length you have, or what texture you have, John truly knows how to cut your hair! He is a true gem!
So glad to have Jen do my nails. Always pleased!

Diana gave me a 90 minute massage that was unbelievable! I have neuromuscular issues and had injuries to my hamstrings. She did everything I needed and more. As I told her, her hands are poetic!
I appreciate that you keep everything extremely clean. The only downfall is the pedicure room feels very tight and the customer seats are not very comfortable. The selection of nail polish is also minimal.
Everyone is so positive and helpful. From check-in to purchasing products at the end, I enjoy the experience each time I visit. I always leave looking better than when I arrived.
